Welcome to West Bromwich Karate Kai
West Bromwich Karate Kai began back in 1958 as a open-style karate club under the influence of Mr Jan Buzak. My predecessor sensei Roy Partridge devoted 36 years working with the local community helping less privileged youngsters including myself to become good citizens of our society through training and self discipline. Now we practice the Wado-Ryu style of Karate which is recognised and followed world-wide.
Our aims have always remained the same, to help all students integrate and develop the personal skills required in today’s world.
We are members of the English Karate Federation, the World Karate Federation's appointed representative in England. Our students therefore have access to a very wide range of courses and competitions. For the most able and ambitious we can provide a path to national and international competition representing England.
All our instructors are CRB checked plus we have first aid training and child protection policies in place. We issue licences to all our students which in turn provide the required insurance. West Bromwich Karate Kai welcomes all students, from absolute beginners to seasoned karateka moving to the area or returning to the art.
Welcome
Sensei Ray Field 5th Dan
